“ The Rainbow Roll ($14.95) is perfection. Immediate happiness had bombarded my body. I never had tasted such a fluffy, delicate filling. Blufish's Rainbow Roll's center overflows with delicate, finely diced imitation crab and soft avocado. It's adorned with fresh assorted sashimi. The fresh rolls easily tramples every competitor in the vicinity. Blufish is the ultimate hidden local gem. Hidden by Blufish's murky, lacklaster outer walls, Blufish's interior is awe-strikingly beautiful. Blufish is easily the most budget-friendly romantic destination in the area. Pink flowers adorn the ceiling, scenic pictures hug its walls, and pop music (song examples: Bad at Love, Too Good at Goodbyes) echo within this extremely clean location. If I were to nitpick the welcoming ambiance, the song playlist did not match the Japanese decor. My family and I arrived on Thursday (around 2:30PM). I ordered the Lunch Bento (2 item - Salmon Roll & Salmon Teriyaki - $19.50). The Salmon Teriyaki had cost an extra dollar. Also, I ordered the Rainbow Roll ($14.95). Also, my family ordered 5 other dishes. Our waitress was charming, helpful, and attentive. She never provided her name, but she's impressive!! She memorized our seven dish orders, and she recited it. She never wrote down the order. Talented staff!! However, dishes are paced slowly and awkwardly. The food does not arrive near the same time. We had three minute intervals between most dishes. In total, all the food finished arriving in 22 minutes. The Lunch Bento is underwhelming. Its salad had fresh, leafy greens; however, its salad dressing is pungent like horse radish. The salad dressing had a coarse, bitter flavor. The Bento Box's tiny Salmon Rolls used fresh fish; however, it primarily tasted like crunchy cucumber. Its fish ratio is small compared to the large cucumber slices. Thankfully, the Salmon Teriyaki was cooked perfectly! It's extremely soft, tender, and fresh. Its skin is also perfectly crisp, and the sweet teriyaki sauce is delectable. Unfortunately, the Salmon Teriyaki's portion is small. The Gyoza had a nice crisp. Its texture is lovely, but its filling is small, mushy, and forgettable. The accompanying Miso Soup is hot, freshly-made, and satisfying. As mentioned prior, the Rainbow Roll is the absolute star. This Roll is absolutely stuffed! I devoured the Rainbow Roll. Blufish serves one of the best. The Fresh Rolls are the true gem. [Quick note: I nibbled on several items. The shrimp tempura is cooked well. The Fried Salmon Collar is also fried perfectly. However, I do not recommend the Chicken Katsu. It's rock hard and crunchy. Unlike other places, Blufish's Katsu's breading is thicker than the actual chicken. Although it's cooked well, the main taste is just fried breading with delicious sauce.] Overall, Blufish shattered all my expectations. Blufish offers exemplary service, gorgeous ambiance, and sincerely delicious Sushi Rolls. My family and I exited happily as staff chimed, "Thank you so much. Have a great one!!" Blufish Sushi & Grill won my heart. I will definitely return. And I happily recommend. 4.5 out of 5 ”
